Michael A. Rossi, CPA

Mike founded the firm in 1983 after spending three years at the accounting firm of Pete Marwick & Mitchell. He earned his BSBA in accounting from John Carroll University in 1977. Mike’s vast experience includes business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and company recapitalization among others. He is a trustee of four mutual funds and sits as a board member and a former advisor for numerous companies.

Brian E. Schlotter, CPA, PFS, Mt

Brian is the managing partner of Rossi, Schlotter & Co., CPA. He joined the firm in 1989 after spending two years at Kopperman & Wolf Co., CPA’s. Brian received his Bachelor of Administration in Accounting from Kent State University in 1987 and his Masters in Taxation from the University of Akron in 1995. In addition to being a Certified Public Account, Brian is also certified as a Personal Financial Specialist with the AICPA whereby he currently holds his Series 7 and Series 66 Securities License as well as his license to sell Accident & Health, Life and Variable Annuity Insurance in the State of Ohio. Brian has a strong background in construction and real estate development accounting and taxation.

Mike joined the firm in 1997 after spending seven years at the accounting firm of Hobe & Lucas, Inc. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron in 1990. He is currently undertaking the development of the Retirement and Employee Benefit division within our firm. Among Mike's specialties are construction accounting and employee benefits accounting.

Susan C. Wolf, Accountant

Susan is an accounting associate who joined the firm in 2000. She has over 30 years of accounting and personal income tax expertise. Susan’s experience includes 15 years in property management and construction. Her tax experience includes managing an H & R Block office.

Kevin Tyson, Accountant

Kevin joined the firm in 2005 after earning his Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University. He spent one year as a tax preparer at Liberty Tax Service. His expertise includes bookkeeping and individual income tax.

Heather C. Herbert, Accountant

Heather joined the firm in January 2010, after working 5 years with a public accounting firm in Willoughby Hills. Her experience includes audits, reviews and compilations, preparation of business and personal tax returns, small business accounting services, outsourced controller services, and fixed asset accounting. She graduated from Lake Erie College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
